CF Community

Our VISION:

To ensure every child in Trenton enters pre-school healthy and ready to learn.

Our MISSION:

To improve child health and development outcomes in Trenton from prenatal to age three.

Monitoring Progress and Outcomes

The respected Public/Private Ventures organization, in its Phase I Evaluation Report's "Overview of Findings," noted: "Finally, the initiative has developed a reputation for credibility, innovation and strength in New Jersey government, which has not only helped in efforts to raise funds to sustain activities, but is also changing state policy to better support families. Few community initiatives can make such claims."

Our work continues to be used to inform broader policy at the county, state, and national levels. Ultimately, we expect our investments in improving parenting, improving primary care, improving child care and integrating community supports will demonstrate that starting early and focusing on prevention can improve health and development outcomes and reduce downstream public expenditures for crisis services.
