CF Centers for Children and Families

Children's Futures' neighborhood centers serve as hubs of activity focused on helping families obtain the knowledge, skills and resources they need to reach their fullest potential. Through center-based programs, these  centers focus on improving parenting, family safety, parent-child bonding, family literacy, access to care, and more.  The centers also provide links for children and parents to a wide variety of community-based health and social services.  Residents may access programs at any of the centers regardless of where they live in Trenton.

By strengthening connections within and between families, the centers help reduce isolation, and prevent child abuse and neglect. The centers also arrange access to off-site resources and enjoy reputations as places where families feel safe and welcomed.

The centers and the collaborating lead agencies include:

• East Ward Center at St. Francis Medical Center;
• West Ward Center at Mercer Street Friends;
• North Ward Family Success Center at Children's Home Society of NJ;
• South Ward Family Success Center at Children's Home Society of NJ;
• South Ward Center (Home Avenue) at Catholic Charities/El Centro;
• South Ward Center (South Broad Street) at Catholic Charities/El Centro; and
• The Citywide Father Center at UIH Family Partners.
